What Personal Data
We process the following personal data:
- Personal data of individuals seeking humanitarian assistance through our website, social media or otherwise for the purpose of facilitating access to such humanitarian assistance (including name, phone number; email address).
- Personal data of other individuals and organisations in the course of facilitating access to humanitarian assistance.
- Personal data of individuals and organisations offering their assistance to or seeking information about United for Ukraine or its members.

Sharing of Personal Data
Where you have made a request for assistance through any of our channels, your personal data will be shared with third party individuals and organisations exclusively for the purposes of facilitating such assistance.Your personal data will be deleted once we have finished handling your request.The legal basis for the processing of personal data in relation to your request is Art. 6(1) lit. b GDPR. If you get in touch with us for other purposes (e.g.offering assistance, co-operation or simply seeking information about us), the same applies.
United for Ukraine Legal Support Tool
The data you provide through our United for Ukraine Legal Support Tool (e.g. your name and email address) will be processed solely for the purpose of dealing with your request and will be deleted thereafter. Your data will be shared with those volunteers taking on your request. The legal basis for the processing of personal data in relation to our United for Ukraine Connection Tool is generally Art. 6(1) lit.b GDPR.
Social Media Channels
We run fan pages on social networks to promote our organization and to facilitate access to humanitarian assistance. We and the providers of such social networks are joint controllers of our fan pages. The legal basis for the processing of personal data in relation to our social media profiles is Art. 6(1) lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in promoting our organisation and in providing access to humanitarian assistance.
Social media providers may process your personal data for other (even commercial)purposes and may transfer your personal data to third countries with no adequate level of data protection. We have no influence over these processing operations. Therefore, we recommend that you read the privacy policies of each relevant social media provider carefully to learn about your rights.
